In 1948, in Hersilia, a town to the north of Santa Fe province, Mr. Fernando Biassoni, with a reduced group of workers, began the production of bits for hard woods using almost handicraft methods. That humble shop was the origin of what today is BIASSONI E HIJOS S.A.I.C.A. The constant interest in achieving an optimun product quality made it possible for BIASSONI to secure a leading position in the national market. The growing demand enabled the installation of a factory in Esperanza city, where we set out to develop new products by forging processes. Nowadays, the company is being runned by Mrs. María Elena Biassoni, who has led its recent growth process, in high competition conditions and who continues the industrial tradition created by her father more than 50 years ago. That tradition and a process of managerial professionalization enabled the company to adapt its activity to the new conditions and to a constant need of improvement. Today, with an area of 8000 square meters divided in three industrial plants, up to date techniques and a highly trained staff, BIASSONI manufactures an assorted line of tools. Once established with a leading position in the internal market, the company set out, with quality and prices, to conquer the external market, and its products are found in different countries of various continents. BIASSONI E HIJOS S.A.I.C.A. today keeps on working, as in its beginnings, in order to establish its prestige, with regular deliveries and above all with a quality in constant improvement.
